The travel league, named "Attack", is the competitive division of CASL. Participation is decided by open, competitive try-outs. The team players are selected based on player performance, history, and attitude. The process is supervised by an impartial team including the coaching director and other experienced soccer coaches and administrators. All coaches are trained volunteers, and cleared through a background check.
The "Attack" teams focus on skills-building and competition against strong teams from the Rochester, NY metro area. The league keeps records and plays for division titles. CASL fields gender-specific teams in age brackets U-9 through U-17. As determined by our governing organization, the New York State West Youth Soccer Association (NYSWYSA), the U-8 through U-10 teams do not play for standings.
"Attack" teams play in 12 league games annually (6 home, 6 away), and may enter regional tournaments and/or indoor winter leagues. Their season begins in January with indoor practices, and reaches into late July. Home games are played in Canandaigua. Away games are played at various host sites throughout the greater Rochester region. Typical away sites include Fairport, Irondequoit, Gates, Greece, Brockport and others in Monroe County. Summer tournaments and winter indoor practice and league venues are also located in the Monroe county area. These are scheduled with input and feedback from parents and players. CASL hosts indoor practice locations in the Canandaigua area that many teams use during the winter months.

2018 Total Travel Fees: $300
- Tryout-Registration fee*: $50
- Applied to Travel Fees or refunded if a player does not make a team.
- Initial payment of $100 is due upon acceptance to the team in order for a player to attend practice.
Final Payment is due on January 15th, 2018.
A $25 late fee is applied if paid between January 16 and January 21
A $50 late fee is applied if paid between January 22 and January 28
A $75 late fee is applied if paid between January 29 and January 31
If payment has not been received by January 31 the player will forfeit their position on the team
* a $10 non-refundable service charge is applied to walk-up registrations.
